What is the Net Zero Leaders course?

Net Zero Leaders is a one-day, CPD-accredited course for business leaders, sustainability managers and procurement teams. It covers climate science, carbon accounting under the GHG Protocol, science-based targets and the main UK regulations, and helps each participant build a practical net zero roadmap for their own organisation. It runs online or in person.

What the day covers

Six modules taught by practising consultants, with time to apply each one to your own organisation.

    The Science of Climate Change

    Understanding the physical science basis, key IPCC findings, and the 1.5°C pathway.

  2. 02

    Carbon Accounting Fundamentals

    GHG Protocol, Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, boundary setting, and measurement methodologies.

  3. 03

    Science-Based Targets

    SBTi framework, near-term and long-term targets, sector-specific pathways, and validation.

  4. 04

    Regulatory Frameworks

    PPN006, NHS Evergreen, SECR, CSRD, TCFD — what applies to your organisation and when.

  5. 05

    Net Zero Strategy Development

    Developing a credible, science-aligned net zero roadmap with prioritised reduction actions.

  6. 06

    Reporting & Communication

    How to report, disclose, and communicate your net zero progress to stakeholders.
